Dr Luigi Visani MD (Sole Administrator)

Luigi joined Pierrel Research Italy with more than 15 years experience in clinical drug development and clinical trials from study design to final report.
Prior to joining Pierrel Research Italy, Luigi was Director of Clinical Research at Boehringer Ingelheim Italy and a permanent member of the Company's International Cardiovascular Expert Group.

Luigi is a physician with a post-doctoral specialisation in cardiology. He has been directly involved in the management and conduct of many international and multicentre clinical trials. Whilst working for Boehringer Ingelheim he was a member of the "Farmindustria Clinical Research Working Group", the committee of the Italian Association of Pharmaceutical Companies, which made a major contribution to the definition and implementation of the present regulations on clinical trials in Italy.

Piergiorgio Galletti MD (Medical Director)

Piergiorgio graduated in Medicine and post-graduated in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Milan (Italy). He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1985 and worked 13 years in the Medical Departments of three Italian Companies (Italfarmaco, Bayer and Knoll) as Medical Manager of phase II-III-IV projects mainly in the cardiovascular (heparins, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives) and oncological area (anti-TNF and novel alkyklating agents in solid tumors and myeloma). He spent three years as Drug Safety Manager for the management of adverse events in clinical trials and from the marketed drugs of the three Italian companies of the Knoll-BASF Group.
He collaborated with various Companies and CROs as consultant in the management of clinical trials and medical writing from 1999 until 2003, then joined the CRO Pharm Olam International as Director of Clinical Operations and Country Manager.
He joined Hyperphar in May 2008 as Director of Clinical Operations.
